Museum Forward highlights the broader social and cultural roles of Indonesia’s historic sites and collections while identifying new ways to present cultural heritage through global visions, best practices, and international standards. MUSEUM FORWARD was launched in 2024 with a three day international conference and workshop that brought together and inspired more than 400 museum and cultural heritage practitioners across Nusantara and beyond, to tackle the conformities within the Indonesian museum landscape.
